I am here to share my story of success in managing my matters with mental health and learning to help you progress with your problems of managing your matters.

Planning is not my thing – so I step and strategize my way to success, and my business KnowingandAbility is about teaching people how to do just that – knowing how to step and strategize for you to have the ability to achieve with your mental health, your overall health, having fun, fashion, family, fitness, and friendship.

How long have you been in business?

I have been in business for 5 years where I repeat the knowledge with different costumers and guiding people to take the necessary actions needed for success through different areas of life.

Do you bring your own equipment and supplies?

I prefer to bring my own equipment and supplies as I know what is needed and why.

What do you love most about your job?

I get to be myself. I have always been drawn to helping others as I have a natural ability to want to show and tell what I do, why I do things the way I do and how. My work is about your mental health, overall health, having fun, fashion, family and friendship, and all of this is me being me.

What inspired you to start your own business?

At the time I needed work and an income and I knew that I had a wealth of knowledge in different areas of life and that I also had the ability to carry out tasks related to that knowledge – that knowledge and ability started with a cleaning business.

Why should people choose you?

If you are like me and planning is not your thing – then allow me to talk you through stepping and strategizing your way to success, so that planning is your thing.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

All of the consultations are done online meaning that there is no need for the physical face to face contact.

I have wanted to know how with a set of steps to be able, with a purpose. that purpose, overcoming overwhelm. so i created some steps, for those like me, who do not have any.
When you are constantly feeling stressed and your mental health and learning is a mess, you need a way of managing your matters.
I believe, that by knowing a set of steps, you then have the ability to a create a strategic flow. From here you will know and be able to take note when you have progressed. this way of learning makes life easier for people
to know and be able in place for people.

 

Knowing and ability – a place for people with problems, and a set of steps to help those with mental health and learning problems progress. I started to create content and a curriculum from my knowing and ability in 2018, to share
my journey with other people who needed/wanted a set of steps, so that they could also progress.

 

 

 

 

 

Mental health and learning disabilities are out there. And, there is not a set of steps out there to seek, as a solution.
At knowingandability, you are met, starting with your mind. Why? It matters. Talking to you about what matters, offering you steps so that you can strive and achieve success.

 

My vision – in every village, a place for people, who want to know and be able, because they value learning, in steps.

The intention is to help people manage their personal matters with mental health and learning through language development.

This learning starts with you engaging and connecting with yourself (your mental health and body image), how you feel in your
fashion first, so that you feel good and the result: you want to know so that you can further be able to do.

I help people with a set of steps to progress to know-how and be able to manage their mental health and learning.

 

It is steps to take, that results in clarity for you to feel less nervous. I call it building the basics, from the ground up, and I have used this approach with my home help business. The goal of knowing and ability is to talk about
what matters, and showing you how, with lessons around resources and learning around words.

I‘ve had both mental health problems and learning disabilities from the day that I was born, and I’ve had to work out ways to navigate my way through life and it hasn’t been easy. But, since discovering why my life has been so
difficult, I have discovered a way to make my life less chaotic and more reliable and I have learned how to make sense of my thoughts and how my mind works to make a system that works for me, and now I am here for you.

 

 

 

 

So, how can I help you?

 

 

I believe that a great experience is more than just a conversation on a topic. The potency of your basic knowing and ability comes out through tips and teaching you, by showing you how. It should be meaningful for you, memorable to
you, and a meeting of minds. You knowing how you accessed help = hence, helping you manage your mattes. And guess what else? It should also contain every ounce of good energy. Because a passionate plan helps people to progress.

I have found that talking things out has been the most successful way for me to have a clear understanding for myself. Talking things out has been a lifeline for me. It has been this approach that has helped me to work
through my issues, worries, and stresses. It has brought clarity to my mind.

This form of mindfulness along with meditation and breathing exercises have been important to me. This practice has helped me to stay focused on the task at hand. For me, it has been about taking mindfulness and putting it into action.

 

 

Knowing and understanding your emotions to help you manage your matters, to be able to evolve and get going.

 

I have a grown son whom I am very proud of and I was in a long-term relationship for over 20 years.

 

 

 

Qualifications

 

 

I want to share with you what I have learned in my life and how I got to this stage, where I can create this website and share my journey with you . I have studied toward formal training but I also have 49 years of experience of trying
to make sense of my mind and my life.

I love to help people connect with themselves and break the internal overwhelm, of a disordered mind. Mental health is about the overwhelm within you. Overcome is about the learning that you apply that helps you get through.

During my four years of being a teacher’s assistant in physiotherapy, speech therapy, and assisting small groups of children within the classroom setting, I have guided children to face their feelings, by jotting words down and talking
about what matters to them.

“I have dedicated my life to helping people overcome the overwhelm they feel. By facing their feelings, this enables people to experience a connection, participate in a conversation, and communicate better, with a flow-on effect that provides for a fun engagement”.

And speaking of engagement, my first online
business, was that of being a cleaner, with just one page, which was my marketing and sales page. A business that I created and ran myself for 10 years. I loved the mental, emotional and physical discipline, that the work demanded.

Coping with my overwhelm, started to become easy. I also learned about time management skills and how to face my own feelings when determining a dialogue with another. Now, I demonstrate the steps.

 

Eating large amounts of chocolate, and biting my nails, became my way of coping. Now I am not sharing to impress or be judged, my intention is to let you know where I have come from to get here because my background is not one with
awareness, a knowing about mental health, or with the ability when it comes to learning.

 

My interest in mental health and learning has been through my own discovery of me, and where this line of work could take me. After the first session, I was speaking and seeking more information on how mental health and learning go
hand in hand. And I was sold with the desire to keep searching for solutions.

Life changed for me on this day

I wanted to learn more about how mental health and learning affect people and their desire or lack of, that causes the overwhelm with people. I wondered what the experts could tell me that I did not know, that would fix me in just
one, or two sessions. As a result of my discovery, I have not had to return for another consultation, and that was 10 years ago.

My belief about mental health and learning is that both are linked. Constantly practicing being connected to me by facing my feelings prior to connecting with another person matters more than ever. This changes everything with
mental health and learning.

This world needs to change for others also, The experiences have been so different from what I have ever known about mental health and learning. I have changed my life. I no longer consume large amounts of chocolate and have
nails. I strive to look after myself. Feelings matter and so too does jotting words down. It is about being creative.

 

 

 

 

 “By practicing facing my own feelings, through jotting words down in pieces, the energy has flowed differently within my body. I prioritize myself. My learning matters. I am happier. My mind matters, I cherish peace, and music in my life. Life has changed”.

 

 

 

Through my practice, I have changed the way in which I do things, so that I have time to listen to music, and laugh when I need to.

 

I now spend my time helping others to discover facing their feelings and learning to jot and journal words down in pieces, as I can do. Because I know and I am able.

 

 

 

A little more about me

 

I have studied toward a degree in teaching. My majors ( subjects that I was interested in: English language and linguistics, the arts – drama and music, technology, and ICT ie: the internet and health and well being)

I am a mother, sister, aunty, and daughter. I am a New Zealander and I live in New Zealand.

What makes me different? I have a passion for anything involving education through engagement. That engagement requires learning, in steps.

What I do

I teach, in steps. Those steps come in a variety of ways, poetry, ebooks, courses, membership a service and more.

The products and service are where I share with you my experiences of struggle with mental health and learning disability.

I am a content and curriculum creator of lessons through a set of steps and around resources.

I teach a set of steps, where I start and finish with mental health and then with learning.

Why do I do this work?

I have great pleasure in doing this work as I wish there was someone there for me when I was a child, a teen, and even as an adult.

As you have read, I know about struggle, and it is from this pain, that I worked out a system for success for myself to know how to create a business and be able to provide products and services, with the intention of helping others.

So, who are the others that I do this work for? Who? Is it you that is my ideal client? Let us see, shall we?

I do this work mostly for children and adults who are like me. That is, you have mental health and learning difficulties in which you benefit greatly, from one to one. And as a result, you need to learn, in steps.

From here, the intention is to help you overcome overwhelm and feel okay, to continue going about your life and your day.

The aim is to always feel and be okay.

 

 

 

 

How I do this work

I run a
40 week program broken down into 10 week blocks, that are further broken down to weekly sessions.
